Taylor Swift resumed her Eras Tour on Thursday night in Tampa, Florida after a 10-day break. After the singer performed two surprise tracks from the 2010 album, ‘Speak Now’, fans are sure that she will be releasing the re-recorded version as her next album.

During the first stop in Tampa, Florida on Thursday night, Swift performed the album’s title track ‘Speak Now.’ The pop star is scheduled to perform again in Tampa in the following two days.

Surprise songs

Swift also performed ‘Treacherous’ from Red, which was the last album she released as a recording. Before announcing the surprise song, Swift told the crowd how the album has been “on her mind a lot.”

“So I’ve been thinking a lot about one of my albums recently,” said Swift. “One of my albums has been on my mind a lot. I’ve been thinking about it, lots of thoughts going on in my brain about it, so I thought I might play the title track of that album!”

The ‘Speak Now’ clues

Swift’s subtle reference to the 2010 album has left fans in a frenzy believing that ‘Speak Now: Taylor’s Version’ is on the way. Before Thursday, fans have already theorized that Swift will release the re-recording sometime this year.

Another major clue leading to ‘Speak Now: Taylor’s Version’ are reports of Swift filming a new music video over her recent break from the Eras Tour. The singer was photographed in Liverpool on set running with a picture frame in what fans describe as a “Speak Now outfit.”

A Twitter fan page points out that the singer is seemingly dressed in a version of one of her tour outfits from the 2011 Speak Now: World Tour. Swift wore a custom Roberto Cavalli gold fringe dress with Everybody boots when she would perform the tracks ‘Sparks Fly,’ ‘Mine,’ and ‘Story of Us.’ during the tour.

Swift was also reported to be filming the music video with actress Joey King, who appeared in the music video for ‘Mean’ over 10 years ago, a song also off of the ‘Speak Now’ album.
