A Stella McCartney dress previously worn by Gisele Bündchen was sold for big bucks over the weekend at the supermodel’s annual charity gala.

The supermodel attended the Luz Alliance Gala in Miami on Saturday, and wore the dress to the event before auctioning it off.

It ended up fetching $48,000, with the event raising a reported $1 million in humanitarian pandemic relief for families in Brazil.

Bündchen previously wore the dress back in 2019 at the Hollywood for Science Gala. The one-shouldered style is made from sustainable viscose fabric, though the dress she wore on Saturday had a bit of an update, as she wore it would its original cape-style train.

Her stylist, Ever Sanchez, said that Bündchen removed the cape in order to give the dress a fresh look. She rounded out her look with a matching ivory clutch, green heels and emerald-and-diamond earrings.

Bundchen praises those who made it out

Bundchen took time to thank everyone who attended the event in a post uploaded to her Instagram account.

“I used to think how can I make a difference?” she captioned the post.

“I am just one person in this enormous world and there is just too much to do, but early on I understood that to amplify change it is essential to join forces and that through dedication and collaboration, everything is possible.

“From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank everyone who was at the Luz Alliance Gala yesterday, helping us to support nature. Together we were able to raise funds that will help so many people and projects in Brazil.”

“As Desmond Tutu said: ‘Do your little bit of good where you are; it’s those little bits of good put together that overwhelm the world.’”

She also made a rare red carpet appearance with her twin sister, Patricia.

Patricia, who is Gisele’s fraternal twin and business manager in Brazil, wore a floral-print dress for the fundraiser.

“This was my first gala and couldn’t have done it without my sister Pati who worked diligently with the Brazil Foundation to organize this special evening,” Gisele told People.
