ABC has prepared a typically star-studded lineup of musical performers for the 54th edition of Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve - an iconic TV broadcast which, for the first time, will also include a live west-coast party as it counts down to 2025.

How can I watch Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve?

Hosted on the east coast by Ryan Seacrest, who will mark two decades at the helm of the show, New Year’s Rockin’ Eve will air live on ABC from 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on Tuesday December 31, and can be streamed on Hulu the next day.

If you don’t have cable, you can watch ABC on the online platform fubo, which offers a free trial.

Who is performing on New Year’s Rockin’ Eve?

Seacrest and co-host Rita Ora will anchor the broadcast from New York’s Times Square, where American Idol winner-turned-judge Carrie Underwood will sing a medley of some of her greatest hits shortly before midnight ET.

“I have such fun memories of performing on New Year’s Rockin' Eve in Times Square in both 2007 and 2015, and I’m so excited to perform just before the ball drops again this year,” Underwood told ABC. “I’m thrilled to celebrate 20 years since winning American Idol by joining Ryan as he hosts his 20th New Year’s Eve in Times Square.”

Other confirmed performers at the New York party are TLC, Megan Moroney, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Lenny Kravitz, Teddy Swims, Tinashe, Cody Johnson and Thomas Rhett.

New Year’s Rockin’ Eve will also be present in Puerto Rico, where Dayanara Torres will again co-host, with singer Luis Fonsi performing. And on the west coast of the US, Alanis Morissette is among the headline acts, as she celebrates the 30th anniversary of the release of her hit album Jagged Little Pill.

Blake Shelton is to perform from Las Vegas as part of the west coast party, which will also include Reneé Rapp, Dasha, HARDY, Kesha, Laufey, Natasha Bedingfield and T-Pain. What’s more, the broadcast will feature DJ Cassidy’s Pass The Mic Live! show, with hip-hop stars Ja Rule, Fat Joe, Slick Rick, Doug E. Fresh and Ernest.

“A monster show”

We have a jam packed show,” Seacrest told ABC this week. “I mean, every artist that had a year this year and beyond we’ll have in the show. It is five plus hours of a broadcast. It’s a monster show.”
