Actress Halle Berry has shared her discontent and disappointment towards Drake. This came after the Canadian rapper shared a photo of her covered in slime to promote his latest song, in collaboration with SZA.

Halle Berry wants to be ‘the bigger guy’

The photo captured Berry moments after she was showered with slime at Nickelodeon’s 2012 Kids’ Choice Awards in Los Angeles, California, while sitting in the audience.

“Sometimes you have to be the bigger guy... even if you’re a woman!” Berry posted cryptically on her Instagram.

In the comments section of Drake’s post, one user specifically asked what Berry thought about Drake using a photo of her for his song. “He didn’t get my permission,” she responded. “That’s not right. I thought he was better than that!”

“Hence my post today. When people you admire disappoint you, you have to be a bigger person and move on!” she added.

Drake fans attack Halle Berry

In the comments section of both posts, Instagram users began to criticize the actress and question her anger.

“Although I understand your version. That photo is the property of Getty Images. So I’m sure you got your permission. And he paid the fee. Why are you angry?” one user commented on Berry’s post.

“You’re literally not even the official cover, he just posted that photo to announce it. You’re trying too hard to be a victim,” someone else added.

In Berry’s defence

Despite the criticism, some users defended the Oscar-winning actress.

“I really can’t understand how anyone thinks it’s okay to use not only a photo of another person, without their consent, but also a photo of a woman as high profile as Halle Berry,” said one.

“It’s so disrespectful, hurtful, a slap in the face. All for monetary gain and attention and you can’t even ask for consent. I am so baffled and have lost so much faith in humanity when reading these disgusting comments,” he added.
