Prince Harry was a guest on ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’ on Tuesday night in what was a follow-up to his appearance on the show last month.

During his appearance, Harry took part in a speed round involving 15 questions, with one of the questions being what his favorite sandwich is.

Harry has to be careful about his verbiage

Harry’s answers managed to confuse Stephen Colbert, as his use of the words “toasty” and “toasting machine”, meaning “grilled sandwich” and “panini press”, resulted in some light-hearted talk between the two.

Harry revealed that he has to be careful about his choice of words given the differences between American English and British English, as it caused issues between him and and his wife.

“The Americanisms to the Britishisms are very different,” said Harry. “Got me and my wife into a lot of trouble at the beginning of our relationship.”

Harry and Colbert went on to discuss other differences, including “pavement” and “sidewalk”, as well as “horse riding” and “horseback riding”.

Harry has been married to Markle since May 2018. During the segment, Colbert asked Harry what his favorite smell was, to which he responded “my wife”.

Harry hosting virtual event for ‘Spare’

The segment, which was taped during Harry’s appearance on the show back in January, comes ahead of a virtual event for his memoir, ‘Spare’.

Harry and publisher Penguin Random House’s social media accounts made the announcement, which will see the Prince joined by Dr. Gabor Maté on March 4.

The ticketed virtual event will be streamed live on VIMEO starting at 12 p.m. EST/9 a.m. PST and will go over the topics of loss and healing that Prince Harry focuses on in his memoir.

Dr. Gabor Maté is the author of ‘The Myth of Normal: Trauma, Illness, and Healing in a Toxic Culture’. He is a Hungarian-Canadian physician with a focus on family practice and childhood development and trauma.

How to watch the event

Tickets for the virtual talk can be purchased via the official website for Prince Harry’s memoir at princeharrymemoir.com.

Each ticket comes with a hardcover copy of ‘Spare’. Fans will also have the option to purchase Dr. Maté's ‘The Myth of Normal: Trauma, Illness, and Healing in a Toxic Culture’ as well.
