Kanye West’s X departure after Taylor Swift Super Bowl controversy: ‘It felt like an Ayahuasca trip’

There once was a time when Kanye West was a highly talented rapper and albums such ‘Late Registration’ and his magnum opus ‘My Beautiful Twisted Dark Fantasy’ saw him breath life and creative energy into the genre.

Sadly for Mr. West, those days are long gone and at present, the 47-year-old seems to go out of his way to court controversy.

Over the weekend, West returned to X to share a series of posts claiming he’s a Nazi and that he loves Hitler.

Another post said: “I’m never apologizing for my Jewish comments.” Following the posts, West’s account had a “sensitive content warning” added to it.

Over the course of the early hours and into Friday morning, West shared more than 60 posts on his X profile, several of which were anti-Semitic attacks. “I LOVE HITLER NOW WHAT BITCHES,” he posted. “I AM A NAZI,”he also wrote. “JEWS ACTUALLY HATE WHITE PEOPLE AND USE BLACK PEOPLE,”he wrote in another post.

“WHITE PEOPLE AND JEWS ARE DIFFERENT YOU CAN MAKE MONEY FROM JEWS BUT THEY WILL ALWAYS ROB YOU AND INVITE YOU TO THEIR HOUSE ON FRIDAY. WHITE PEOPLE DON’T MESS WITH BLACK PEOPLE, THEY LEAVE THAT TO THE JEWS [...] JEWS HATE WHITE PEOPLE BECAUSE OF THE GERMANS IN WORLD WAR II”, he later posted.

“I WILL NEVER APOLOGIZE FOR MY JEWISH COMMENTS. I CAN SAY WHATEVER I WANT TO SAY FOREVER,” he said in a post he later deleted. “I LOVE IT WHEN JEWS COME TO ME AND TELL ME THEY CAN’T WORK WITH ME ANYMORE. IT’S MY FAVORITE,” he shared.

The rapper’s Yeezy.com website which housed his clothing line now only sells one item and if you are looking for a plain white t-shirt with a swastika, then Kanye is ready to do business with you.

West thanks Musk

Before deleting his X account, West took time to thank Elon Musk and terminated the account with more than 32 million followers.

“I’m logging out of Twitter,” he wrote. “I appreciate [X owner] Elon [Musk] for allowing me to vent.

“It has been very cathartic to use the world as a sounding board. It was like an Ayahuasca trip.”

“Love all of you who gave me your energy and attention. To we connect again [sic]. Good afternoon and goodnight.”

During the Super Bowl show he had posted a tweet about Taylor Swift, writing: “IF ITS ABOUT THE CULTURE ... WHY ARE WE LETTING TAYLOR SWIFT BE SEEN ON TV SINGING A SONG ABOUT TAKING A BLACK MAN DOWN AND ACCUSING OF THINGS THAT CAN TAKE A BLACK MAN DOWN FOR LIFE.”
