Fans of Pedro Pascal will want to tune into ‘Saturday Night Live’ on February 4 as ‘The Last of Us’ star will make his hosting debut alongside musical guest Coldplay.

The 47-year-old has gone from strength to strength in recent years, working on ‘Game of Thrones’, ‘The Mandalorian’ and most recently ‘The Last of Us’, which has proven to be a success for HBO.

While the appearance marks Pascal’s SNL debut, it will be Coldplay’s seventh stint on the famed Studio 8H stage. The band are currently on a world tour promoting their ninth studio album, ‘Music of the Spheres’.

Pascal’s appearance will mark a run of three-consecutive episodes for the SNL, which had Aubrey Plaza host last week and Michael B. Jordan set to host on January 28.

Pascal and ‘The Last of Us’ turning heads

Pascal’s latest project, ‘The Last of Us’, has proven to be a smashing success for HBO.

A post-apocalyptic zombie series based on the video game of the same name, the show became HBO’s second-largest premiere since Boardwalk Empire in 2010 with 4.7 million viewers in the U.S. Only ‘House of the Dragon’ attracted more viewers.

The show has also earned a 97 percent critics rating and 96 percent audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

“We had such a great time [making ‘The Last of Us’] and it’s such a rare experience where you get to bond to this degree,” Pascal told Entertainment Weekly. “You almost feel like if you have a really good experience, it’s asking for too much that it’d be well received or that experience be translated to an audience, but that’s the intention and what our whole want is more than anything.”

Pascal’s work on ‘The Mandalorian’

The 47-year-old is also set to return to the world of Star Wars when Season 3 of ‘The Mandalorian’ begins streaming on Disney+ on March 1.

“The journeys of the Mandalorian through the Star Wars galaxy continue,” reads the official synopsis for Season 3. “Once a lone bounty hunter, Din Djarin has reunited with Grogu. Meanwhile, the New Republic struggles to lead the galaxy away from its dark history. The Mandalorian will cross paths with old allies and make new enemies as he and Grogu continue their journey together.”
