Prime Video’s big April highlight: The final season of ‘The Boys’
The fifth and final season of ‘The Boys’ is the most anticipated premiere on Amazon’s platform in April.

It’s official: the end is here. If there’s one must‑watch title on Prime Video this April, it’s unquestionably the fifth and final season of The Boys. Over the past few years, showrunner Eric Kripke and the cast have delivered one of the wildest, most unapologetically brutal superhero series on television.
After the explosive Season 4 finale, the team is in no shape to take down Homelander once and for all — but Butcher and the gang are gearing up for one last showdown. Karl Urban has already teased a “completely savage” season packed with “fatalities from the very beginning,” while Kripke has warned fans that no one is safe and some deaths may hit hard.
Based on the comic by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, this final chapter is poised to be the kind of ending people will still be talking about years from now — hopefully for all the right reasons.
More April premieres worth checking out
Prime Video is also rolling out several notable additions this month. One standout is Balls Up, the latest comedy from Peter Farrelly (There’s Something About Mary). Mark Wahlberg stars as a marketing exec who tries to capitalize on the World Cup by launching a massive condom campaign — and, naturally, chaos follows.
Anime fans get a treat with the arrival of the legendary Fist of the North Star, while literary lovers can look forward to The House of the Spirits, adapted from Isabel Allende’s beloved novel.
