Beginning with the most important outfit of the night, Rihanna came out in a stunning bright red monochromatic one-piece sweatsuit. The look was comprised of red head to toe with sneakers, an oversized coverall, with a tight high-neck top with a metal breastplate.

The singer complimented the look with a matching red lip and accessorized with various silver jewelry along her ear and a black watch. Later in her performance, she puts on a floor-length puffer coat in the same shade.

Stage Tricks

Her outfit was well coordinated with the bright red platform stage that ran across the entire field. The stage wasn’t stationary through and had various floating platforms that moved throughout the performance

The singer used up every inch of space on the various stages, going from floating in the stadium sky to dancing along the long field platform alongside her backup dancers.

The entire performance had an otherworldly feel because of the trippy camera work, use of changing LED lights, and moving floating platforms that dancers and Rihanna frequently moved on and off of.

The backup dancers complimented the singer both in color contrast and with their moves. The group of over 200 dancers were fitted in puffy white sweatsuits featuring silver chains on their belts and all in matching black sunglasses.

The singer used her dancers to her advantage by dancing and engaging with them throughout the performance before finishing off the 13-minute-long mash-up with a solo performance of her song ‘Diamonds.’
