Rihanna broke the internet, the Super Bowl and pretty much everything when she hinted during her half-time performance during the NFL Championship game that she was pregnant, which was swiftly confirmed in the hours that followed. On Wednesday, the singer gave birth to her second child with her partner, rapper A$AP Rocky.

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s baby girl yet to be named

Sources close to the couple have revealed that the Barbadian star gave birth to a girl, with mother and child resting and recovering in the family’s Los Angeles mansion. We’ll still have to wait a little longer for a name for the little one, the younger sister of RZA Athelston Mayers, who was born in May 2022.

Pop superstar launches maternity clothing line

In keeping with her Super Bowl half-time concert, Rihanna has openly spoken about the profound effect pregnancy and motherhood have had on her life and just this week launched her first maternity wear line for Savage X Fenty.

The 35-year-old announced her latest business venture by posting a series of photos on Instagram of her breastfeeding her young son, while modelling one of her new nursing bralettes.

When will Rihanna make her on-stage comeback?

Rihanna’s Super Bowl performance was the first time she had appeared live on stage solo for seven years, although fans’ hope of her making a fully-fledged comeback were soon dashed by news of her pregnancy. Rumours are circulating surrounding a potential world tour in 2024 but nothing has been officially announced. Family life will very much take priority for the next little while.
