While fans were thrilled to watch Rihanna’s return to live stage performances, they couldn’t help but notice her stomach. To many, it appeared that Rihanna might be pregnant again.

While there has yet to be an official confirmation, fans were quick to pick up on a potential clue she might have left behind.

In an interview with television host Nate Burleson, Rihanna said, “I’m thinking about bringing someone,” in regards to her halftime show performance.

Since Rihanna didn’t have a guest performer join her on stage, some speculate that this statement was alluding to the potential baby that she may be carrying with her.

Rihanna & A$AP Rocky

The two have been acquainted for over a decade now and have been linked professionally since their collaboration on ‘Cockiness’ remix in 2012.

In 2013, Rocky released his song ‘Fashion Killa’ and in the music video Rihanna played the part of his girlfriend. In 2019 they made their red carpet debut at the British Fashion Awards.

The romance rumors were finally put to rest in 2021 when the pair publicly confirmed their relationship.

Rihanna gave birth to their son in May 2022.

In fact, it was Rihanna’s son who inspired her to accept the offer to perform at the halftime show.

“When you become a mom, there’s something that just happens where you feel like you can take on the world and do anything,” she said during her press conference with Apple Music.

“The Super Bowl is one of the biggest stages in the world. As scary as that was, because I haven’t been on stage in seven years, there’s something exhilarating about the challenge of it all.

“It’s important to me to do this, this year. It’s important for representation, it’s important for my son to see that.”
