‘Saving Private Ryan’ actor Tom Sizemore dead at 61
The news comes after his family announced that they were “deciding end of life matters” earlier this week.
‘Saving Private Ryan’ actor Tom Sizemore has passed away at the age of 61.
Tom’s representative, Charles Lago, tells TMZ, “It is with great sadness and sorrow I have to announce that actor Thomas Edward Sizemore (”Tom Sizemore”) aged 61 passed away peacefully in his sleep today at St Joseph’s Hospital Burbank. His Brother Paul and twin boys Jayden and Jagger (17) were at his side.”
Sizemore was recently hospitalized
The news comes after Sizemore was recently hospitalized after suffering a brain aneurysm. He was found in his Los Angeles home unconscious at around 2 a.m following a medical emergency, before being transported to an L.A. hospital.
He had been hospitalized since, remaining in critical condition, in a coma and in intensive care. According to his manager, Charles Lago, the brain aneurysm was the result of a stroke.
“Today, doctors informed his family that there is no further hope and have recommended end of life decision,” Sizemore’s manager Charles Lago said in a statement issued Monday night.
