Take a look at Dolly Parton’s stunning “retro” golden Cadillac

Dolly Parton’s 1997 Cadillac is a work of art in its own right.

He joined AS in 2022 and covers both the men’s and women’s game across Europe and beyond.
Update:

It wouldn’t be right if Dolly Parton drove either a Fiat Panda or a McLaren P1 — but a Cadillac? That’s more like it.

Dolly Parton’s love for glamour isn’t limited to the stage, her taste extends to her collection of cars as well. Among her collection, one vehicle stands out: a 1997 Cadillac D’Elegance... in gold.

The D’Elegance combines classic Cadillac luxury with typical American power. Its 4.6-litre V8 engine produces 275 horsepower, while the interior is fitted with leather seating and a high-quality sound system.

More than just a personal vehicle, the golden Cadillac became part of Dolly’s public persona. Fans could associate the car with her unique image. Eventually, she chose to gift the car to the Hollywood Star Cars Museum in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, where it remains for visitors to see.

Dolly’s admiration for Cadillac wasn’t limited to this single model. In 2004, the brand released a special edition DTS Platinum with a white diamond finish and Dolly’s signature, a tribute to her influence and iconic style.

Despite being one of the most famous faces on the planet, Parton apparently only owns three cars. Along with her museum-piece Cadillac, she has a Lincoln Nautilus (the twin-turbocharged V6, 250bhp one) and a Mercedes-Benz GL (the AMG version of the GL has a four-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine that puts out 621 horsepower).
