The implausible million-dollar lawsuit facing Post Malone: he was told he’d be “taken care of” for his time
Rapper Post Malone is being sued for several million dollars over a 2020 music video filmed alongside Tyla Yaweh.

A limousine driver is reportedly suing rappers Post Malone and Tyla Yaweh over an appearance in a music video five years ago.
Why exactly is Post Malone being sued?
Celebrity-gossip outlet TMZ reports that Larry Deuel, a teacher and limo driver, is seeking millions in damages after the duo allegedly failed to pay him for his role in the video to the song “Tommy Lee”.
Per TMZ, Deuel’s lawsuit also claims he never officially authorized Post Malone and Tyla Yaweh to use his name, image and likeness in the video, which has amassed nearly 100 million views on YouTube.
In 2020, Deuel says, he was asked to drive the pair to the location of the shoot. Once there, he alleges they asked him to appear in the video, telling him he’d be “taken care of” if he agreed.
In the video, a limo driver can be seen rolling out a red carpet next to a dark-colored stretch vehicle, and opening and closing one of the car’s rear doors.
How much does the limo driver want in damages?
According to TMZ’s report, Deuel is seeking at least $2.5 in principal damages, as well as $7.5 million or more in punitive damages.
