The internet’s favorite Italo disco duo: The two guys behind the viral memes glorifying life in Europe
Here’s everything you need to know about the internet’s favorite Italo disco duo.

As we roll through the winter of 2026, a curious musical phenomenon is turning up the heat in Europe and beyond: the resurgence of Italo disco—ushered in most visibly by the Italian duo known as Mind Enterprises.
What once was a niche relic of 1980s European electronic dance culture is now, whether you like it or not, becoming something of a viral soundtrack for the opening chapter of the year.
Mind Enterprises is the creative partnership of Turin-born producer Andrea Tirone and his collaborator Roberto Conigliaro. Tirone’s journey from synth enthusiast to one of the genre’s most talked-about figures has been quite the journey. After years in London’s eclectic scene, Tirone settled in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, where he and Roberto began developing a blend of classic Italo disco rhythms with modern electronic sensibilities.
Italo disco originally emerged in Italy in the late 1970s and early 1980s as part of a wider European response to American disco music, characterised by synthesiser-driven grooves, catchy melodies and dancefloor rhythms.

Decades after the genre’s heyday, Mind Enterprises have helped revitalise that aesthetic for a new generation. Their performances are often filmed in everyday or unexpected locations like kitchens, rooftops or seaside patios and blend music with a distinct visual style.
Pastel sportswear, vintage accessories and lo-fi camera textures are as much a part of their appeal as their tracks. On social platforms such as Instagram and TikTok, these sets have struck a chord, drawing listeners who are intrigued by this blend of retro charm and contemporary finesse. And they’ve stayed.
Tracks such as Monogamy and Ballare showcase how Italo disco’s core elements - synth basslines, hypnotic drum machines and keyboard lines - can feel both nostalgically familiar and surprisingly fresh in 2025.
