These are the words of Kim Kardashian that surprised everyone talking about her relationship with Kanye West after divorce
In the latest episode of season six of ‘The Kardashians’, Kim had positive words to say about the former couple’s co-parenting.
In the latest instalment of reality-TV show The Kardashians, Kim Kardashian spoke of sharing “good vibes” with rapper Kanye West when it comes to co-parenting the former couple’s kids.
“Kanye and I want the best for the kids”
In season six’s third episode, which premiered on Thursday, Kardashian and West are seen together supporting their daughter North, 11, as she appeared in a performance of The Lion King in spring last year.
“Kanye and I want the best for the kids, and so any time we’re here supporting our child, it’s always good vibes,” Kim said in an interview on the episode, which is entitled “I Just Can’t Wait to be King” (quotes via Page Six).
Looking back on North’s The Lion King performance at the Hollywood Bowl, Kardashian also praised West’s helpful contribution to their daughter’s preparations for the show.
“Her dad has been involved and he came to rehearsal,” Kardashian, 44, said. “And he’s like, ‘Can we change the graphics to The Lion King?'
“And I’m like, ‘Of course, of course’. And I just look at them [the graphics] and I’m like, ‘It will be a better production [with Kanye’s involvement].’”
Kardashian “pretty much a single mom”
Despite Kardashian’s positive words on her co-parenting arrangement with West - who was her husband from 2014 to 2022 - it has been reported that she is largely responsible for raising the four children they have together.
In October, a source told People magazine that Kardashian is “pretty much a single mom”.
“Kanye is sadly not around very much,” the insider revealed to the celebrity news outlet, noting: “Although she has help, it’s still a lot of work for her to balance and coordinate everything.”
In addition to North, Kardashian and West share sons Saint, nine, and Psalm, five; and daughter Chicago, seven.
Is Kanye getting another divorce?
Kardashian’s comments on West have hit the airwaves amid reports that her ex-husband is in the process of splitting from his current wife, the Australian architect Bianca Censori, whom he married in early 2023.
TMZ says West and Censori have both “reached out to divorce attorneys”, while a source has told the New York Post that the latter has “had enough” of their marriage.
“The swastika shirt was the last straw,” the source explained to the Post. “She told him that’s not who she is, and that she can’t be associated with that.”
Earlier this month, a retail website run by West was taken offline, after selling T-shirts bearing swastikas.
