This was Travis Kelce’s hilarious remark about becoming a father on a TV show

The NFL tight end was quick-witted when the topic of kids came around.

As well as overtaking Swift on the music scene, Travis Kelce is also proving himself to be a top-tier comedian. Can this guy just do it all?

The Chiefs tight end appeared on ‘Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?’, where he went up against Pat, a recurring contestant who has struggled with trivia on past occasions.

NFL quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick poked fun at Pat, remarking that becoming a father should have made him a smarter person: “You’re wiser. You’re a father now.”

Kelce’s comical kids quip

Kelce, ever the opportunist when it comes to fun, jumped into the exchange, seeing a moment to get a laugh, responding, “Is that what happens when you have kids? You get smarter? That’s all I had to do to become brilliant?”

Ryan responds with “Have a baby.”

This funny moment from Kelce regarding kids is not the first, either. In a previous episode of the same show, while a contestant was discussing becoming a parent with Lala Kent, Kelce jumped in to steal the advice, saying “Let me get out my pen and paper,” to a huge round of applause and laughter from the crowd.

While Swift wasn’t mentioned on the episode of ‘Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?’, it certainly has the Swifties in a twist about their goddess and wether or not babies are on the brain for the US' most in-demand power couple.

Kelce’s main concern at this moment in time may not be children. The Kansas City Chiefs lost their unbeaten record this season in the NFL with a slip-up against the Buffalo Bills, losing 21-30 at Orchard Park.
