The Smashing Pumpkins: ‘Atum’

Releasing on Friday, May 5.

The Smashing Pumpkins have announced a new album called ‘Atum,’ which is a 33-song rock opera in three acts. The album is a sequel to their previous albums Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness and Machina/Machine of God.

The band plans to release each act of the album every 11 weeks, with the first act coming out on November 15. The album will also be available as a special edition box set with 10 additional bonus tracks.

The vinyl box set comes with colored vinyl, autographs from all four band members, a special audio story of Act 1/ATUM narrated by Bill Kurtis, five exclusive 7″s, a lyric book, and photographic and illustrated M-pack spreads.

There are only 1333 copies of the special box set. The Smashing Pumpkins are also going on tour this fall with dates alongside Jane’s Addiction and Poppy.

Jonas Brothers: ‘The Album’

The Jonas Brothers are set to release their sixth studio album, titled ‘The Album,’ on May 12, 2023, through Republic Records. The album draws its inspiration from 1970s pop and Americana music, as well as the Bee Gees, America, and the Doobie Brothers.

The band promoted the album by performing most of the tracklist at their Broadway residency on March 18, 2023. The album features two singles, “Wings” and “Waffle House,” and will have two bonus tracks for Target and Japan.

Fans are eagerly anticipating the release of the album and can stay updated on the latest news and tour dates through the official Jonas Brothers website.

Kesha: ‘Gag Order’

Releasing on Friday, May 19.

Kesha has released two new singles titled ‘Eat the Acid’ and ‘Fine Line’ from her upcoming album called ‘Gag Order’.

The album features introspective tracks exploring her personal experiences and emotions and is produced by legendary rock and hip-hop producer Rick Rubin.

Kesha’s mom Pebe Sebert is credited with co-writing the lyrics of the two songs. ‘Fine Line’ alludes to the popstar’s legal feud with Dr. Luke, her former producer whom she accused of abuse.

The album is Kesha’s most intimate and personal work, digging deep into her emotions including anger, pain, and regret. With Gag Order, Kesha hopes to help others confront their emotions and start a conversation about mental health and wellness.
