Tupac Shakur and Snoop Dogg have got involved in the beef between Kendrick Lamar and Drake, who has used A.I. to drop “Taylor Made Freestyle,” a follow-up diss track to “Push Ups,” which was officially released only hours earlier. And, yes, the title is indeed a reference to Taylor Swift.

How did Drake get Tupac and Snoop Dog on “Taylor Made Freestyle”?

There has previously been speculation about the role of Artificial Intelligence in the ongoing spat between the rappers. This time, however, we have been left in no doubt, with the late Tupac and Snoop Dogg featuring in the first two verses in Drake’s latest attack on K. Dot, who kicked the feud off with his guest verse on Future and Metro Boomin’s “Like That”.

It was, of course, the second one in quick succession. Earlier on Friday, the Canadian superstar released “Push Ups,” which mocks Lamar for his small frame and feet, all of things. “Taylor Made Freestyle” coming out shortly afterwards (“while we wait on you I guess,” said Drake on Instagram) caught most of us by surprise, in more ways than one.

Of course, the “One Dance” star hasn’t disclosed how he enlisted the help of rap legends Tupac and Snoop, although it is assumed he rapped their individual verses and used A.I. to alter how they sound. The lyrics do sound quite a lot like Drake, after all, with the Toronto native hitting out at Kendrick for seemingly going to ground.

“Tupac” and “Snoop Dogg” join in attack on Kendrick

“You supposed to be the boogeyman, go do what you do / Unless this is a moment that you tell us this not really you,” raps an artificial Tupac.

You asked for the smoke, now it seem you too busy for the smoke / I won’t lie, the people confused,” the theme continues.

“Snoop Dogg” joins in the with jibes in verse two: “World is watching this chess game, but oh you out of moves Dot / You know that the OG never f***ing doubted you / But right now it seem like you posted up without a clue / Or what the f**k you ‘bout to do.

“Cause right now it’s looking like you writing out the gameplan on how to lose / How to bark up the wrong tree and then get your head popped in a crowded room / World is watching this chess game, but are you out of moves?

Drake references Taylor Swift in Lamar diss

Drake himself comes in for the third verse and the outdoor and suggests Swift’s release of The Tortured Poets Department, which came out on Friday, has Lamar running scared his response would be overshadowed in the media by the pop superstar.

“The first one really only took me an hour or two / The next one is really ‘bout to bring out the coward in you / But now we gotta wait a f***ing week ‘cause Taylor Swift is your new Top / And if you ‘bout to drop, she gotta approve / This girl really ‘bout to make you act like you not in a feud / She tailor-made your schedule with Ant, you out of the loop.”

Finally, Drake knows that a response is coming and he signs off by piling the pressure on Lamar to make it something “crazy”.

“Dot, I know you’re in that NY apartment, you struggling right now, I know it / In the notepad doing lyrical gymnastics, my boy / You better have a motherf***ng quintuple entendre on that s**t / Some s**t I don’t even understand, like / That s**t better be crazy, we waiting on you”.
