As is customary, Father’s Day was commemorated every third Sunday of June 18th in the United States and various countries around the world.

Through this celebration, fathers are honored and recognized for their contributions to the family and society in general. Unsurprisingly, social media is filled with photographs and images to celebrate the paternal figure, even if they are no longer with us on this earthly plane. This is the case of Vanessa Bryant, who took to her social media to share an emotional video paying tribute to the great Kobe Bryant on Father’s Day.

On her official Instagram account with over 15.2 million followers, Vanessa shared an edit with various photographs showing the Lakers legend with his daughters Natalia, Gigi, Bianka, and Capri.

Happy Father’s Day to the very best girl daddy,” Vanessa wrote in the video’s description, which already has over 800,000 likes at the time of writing this post.

Kobe Bryant and his thirteen-year-old daughter, Gianna ‘Gigi’ Bryant, passed away on January 26, 2020, in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California, along with seven other victims.

The basketball legend has three daughters, Natalia “Nani” Diamante Bryant, who is the oldest of the Bryant girls, is 20 years old and has a passion for sports, particularly volleyball. However, she also has interests in the modeling and entertainment industry.

Bianka Bella Bryant, or “BB” as her father called her, is the third in line and is only six years old. Capri Kobe Bryant is the youngest. She was born on June 20, 2019, and like her sisters, Kobe gave her a special nickname, “Koko.”
