What celebrities will be panelists at Comicon?

This weekend’s Toronto Comicon will have panels and photo ops with celebrities from ‘Lord of the Rings’, ‘Gilmore Girls’, and ‘The Mandalorian’.

This weekend’s Toronto Comicon will have panels and photo ops with celebrities from ‘Lord of the Rings’, ‘Gilmore Girls’, and ‘The Mandalorian’.

The annual Comicon event, held in Toronto from March 17 to March 19, will see a litany of A-Listers throughout the weekend.

Industry leaders from ‘Lord of the Rings’, ‘Star Wars’, ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’, ‘The Mandalorian’, and ‘Gilmore Girls’ will be in attendance.

Toronto Comicon is at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

The panel discussions

There will be various panels held throughout the weekend, with a list of stars speaking about their past work and projects they are working on now, as well as broader discussions about their career and experiences, and answering audience questions.

Andy Serkis, renowned British actor, will be hosting a panel to discuss his roles in ‘The Lord of the Rings’ trilogy, the ‘Star Wars’ films, his current role in the Netflix movie ‘Luther: The Fallen Sun’, as well as his role as ‘Caesar in the Planet of the Apes’ films. Serkis also has directing work under his belt, with such accomplishments as ‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage’.

Joining the panel discussions will be Sean Gunn of ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’, who many fans will also recognize from ‘Gilmore Girls’.

Speaking of ‘Gilmore Girls’, the show’s Scott Patterson, who plays the role of Lorelai’s love interest, Luke, will host a panel. Patterson will discuss the ‘Gilmore Girls’ series, as well as his new series, ‘Sullivan’s Crossing’, which is filmed in Canada.

Robbie Amell will be in attendance and discuss his work on ‘Upload’ and ‘Resident Evil: Raccoon City’, as well as give updates on his upcoming appearance on the Netflix series, ‘The Witcher’.

Karl Urban and Jessie T. Usher from ‘The Boys’ will be in attendance, as will Danielle Panabaker from ‘The Flash’ and Emily Swallow from ‘The Mandalorian’.

The details of the event

Toronto Comicon kicks off Friday, March 17 at 10 a.m. EST.

Later in the day, there will be opportunities to meet and greet celebrities and take photos, as there is a schedule of appearances throughout the afternoon as follows:

Robbie Amell at 2 p.m.

Danielle Panabaker at 2:20 p.m.

Jessie T. Usher at 4:20 p.m

Nathan Mitchell at 4:40 p.m.

Scott Patterson at 5:20 p.m.

Emily Swallow at 6 p.m.
