What surprise songs did Taylor Swift perform on night three of her ‘Eras Tour’ in Nashville?

Taylor Swift wrapped up her ‘Eras Tour’ stop in Nashville, Tennessee on Sunday night.

The third and final performance at Nissan Stadium was one to remember, as a weather delay caused Swifties to shelter-in-place for nearly four hours.

Despite the delays, Swift delivered two surprise songs as always.

What surprise songs did Swift perform?

The first song Swift performed was ‘Would’ve, Could’ve, Should’be’ from the 3AM version of ‘Midnights’. Swift was joined by Aaron Dessner for the performance.

“He was warned about the rain, and he did accept the challenge anyway,” said Swift.

“‘Would’ve, Could’ve, Should’ve’ was one of our favorites when we made it.”

For the second surprise song, Swift performed ‘Mine’ from ‘Speak Now’, with the crowd singing along despite the rain.

“I want to play a song that when I wrote it, I was writing about all these relationship things that hadn’t happened yet,” said Swift, adding that it was “crazy” to listen back to songs that were rooted in “fantasy” at the time but are no relatable.

“This is called ‘Mine’.”

Rain didn’t stop Swifties from watching the show

Rain forced Swifties to really show their devotion on Sunday night, as the tricky weather conditions pushed back the start of her third and final show in Nashville back for hours.

The show was scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. local time, with two opening acts preceding.

However that all changed due to a storm advisory at the stadium, which was finally lifted at 9:25 p.m.. With the opening acts cancelled, the concert finally got underway at around 10:00 p.m.

As a result, the show ended up going into the early morning, with Swift wrapping things up at around 1:35 a.m..

Despite the delay, the crowd stuck through it, with only a small minority of fans heading home before the start of the show.

“It’s officially a rain show,” Swift told the 70,000 in attendance as the rain came down during ‘Delicate’, the 16th song on her 45-song setlist.

“This is something we’re all doing together. It’s like such a bonding experience,” Swift told those in attendance during the ‘Red’-themed portion of the show.

“We’re all gonna leave here tonight looking like we just went through five car washes… People will be like, ‘Where were you? Several wars?’ And you’re like, ‘No, I just went to the Eras Tour. It’s fine.’”
