The actress welcomed her first child with boyfriend Tom Pelphrey.
Actress Kaley Cuoco has given birth to her first child with boyfriend Tom Pelphrey. Cuoco shared the news of their newborn with a slideshow of photos posted to her Instagram account on Saturday morning.
The ‘Flight Attendant’ actress shared various photos of her new baby girl snuggled up in a hospital blanket, wearing a pink and blue cap with a bow. She also included several photos of her and Pelphrey holding the new baby.
What did the couple name their new baby?
In the caption, she also disclosed that her daughter was born on Thursday, March 30, along with her full name, Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey.
“Introducing, Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey, the new light of our lives!” she wrote.
“We are overjoyed and grateful for this little miracle. Thank you to the doctors, nurses, family, and friends who have helped us immensely over the last few days. We are blessed beyond belief @tommypelphrey didn’t think I could fall even more in love with you, but I did.”
The actress first announced her pregnancy on her Instagram account in October. Cuoco and her boyfriend also announced the baby’s gender at the time.
Pelphrey posted photos of the couple and his new daughter on his Instagram account as well.
“My heart is full of love and gratitude for this miracle, Eternally grateful for the strength and bravery of my soulmate and best friend @kaleycuoco. You are incredible,” he captioned the post.
The caption also includes a Rumi quote, “You are the Soul of the Universe. And your name is Love.”
Cuoco’s pregnancy journey
The couple has been very public about Cuoco’s pregnancy, regularly posting updates on Instagram about their journey together. Earlier in November 2022, Cuoco posted a series of photos to her Instagram Story, revealing that she suffered from extreme nausea while filming the upcoming movie ‘Role Model.’
Later in December, the ‘Big Bang Theory’ actress shared a series of sentimental maternity shots, showing off her bump while Pelphrey kisses and cradles her.
The two also didn’t shy away from attending events together throughout the pregnancy. Together they walked the red carpet of the 2023 Golden Globes in early January.
