The iconic band was all lined up to perform 40 concerts from September 2023 to January 2024, but now we have the new dates confirmed.
Early in 2023, fans of Aerosmith were getting rather excited as the band announced its final tour to start in September, fittingly titled the ‘Peace Out’ tour. But it wasn’t to be as lead singer Steven Tyler struggled with vocal health issues. But fear not, 20 September 2024 sees the start of the postponed gigs in the United States, with the group hitting the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh.

Who is supporting Aerosmith’s ‘Peace Out’ tour?
The Black Crowes have been lined up as the supporting act for Aerosmith’s farewell tour. The band’s new album Happiness Bastards was released in March and ahead of joining Tyler and co. the group have a tour of their own already underway that covers Canada, the US and a selection of gigs across Europe.
Why was Aerosmith’s ‘Peace Out’ tour postponed?
As I mentioned, it was health issues to lead singer Tyler that forced the band to delay the 2023 tour. At the time he communicated the following.
“I’m heartbroken to say I have received strict doctor’s orders not to sing for the next thirty days. I sustained vocal cord damage during Saturday’s show that led to subsequent bleeding. We’ll need to postpone a few dates so that we can come back and give you the performance you deserve.”
It was confirmed later that Tyler had fractured his larynx.
Can 2023 Aerosmith tickets be reused or sold for 2024?
For fans that already had tickets, there was positive news. It was announced by the band that all previously purchased tickets would be honoured at the rescheduled dates. For those that couldn’t attend, they were able to claim a refund.
