When is the “The Fall Guy” starring Ryan Gosling released in the US? What is the movie’s budget?
Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt keep the romance and comedy flowing as destruction on and off the film set keeps us on the edge of our seats.
When a movie fires out multiple trailers and plasters cities around the globe with Emily Blunt and Ryan Gosling, expectations are that the box office is going to be raking it in. The two charming stars bounce off each other so naturally and a strong supporting cast helps with the flow, even to the point when Gosling struggles to understand an Australian police man: “ice crime, not ice cream!” Ahead of its nationwide release, excitement is growing and fans have plenty of questions about the playful adventure, including what it cost to make.
What was ‘The Fall Guy’ budget?
As you can witness for yourself in the above trailer, and given it’s mainly about a stuntman doing stuntmanny things, there is a ton of vehicle crashes, explosions, chases, and exotic locations. That, therefore, is likely to have cost a few cents.
In fact, the budget for ‘The Fall Guy’ movie 2024 is said to have been $125 million (well, what do you expect when you line up Oscar-nominated A-listers like Ryan and Emily?) and that means it will hope to recoup at least $250 million to be considered a success at the box office. In order to turn a profit, it’ll actually need around $310 million! Good luck David Leitch and co.
When is ‘The Fall Guy’ with Ryan Gosling released?
As you may well know, the Gosling-Blunt adventure is not based on a real life story. That said, like many modern movies, there has been a previous example of it in entertainment history.
Back in the 1980s, Lee Majors was the stuntman hero – check out the opening credits for the television show below – and the new cinematic version just takes that idea and runs amok with it, smashing everything in its way until the deed, and the other one, is done. It’s released across the US on Friday 3 May 2024.
Who is the in the supporting cast for ‘The Fall Guy’ 2024?
Most of the plaudits, as you’d expect go to our leading woman and man, but the movie wouldn’t stand a chance of success without the contributions made by Winston Duke, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Hanna Waddingham, Stephanie Hsu and Teresa Palmer. Oh, and keep an eye out for the aforementioned Lee Majors, who gets in on the action in a brief cameo.
