Chris Evans and Alba Baptista got married!
That’s right, after almost two years of a relationship, the 42-year-old actor said “yes” at the altar in the company of his now wife, the 26-year-old actress, news that was revealed exclusively by a source close to the couple for Page Six magazine. According to the insider, the wedding took place through an intimate ceremony held at Captain America’s residence in Massachusetts, near the Boston area.

The actors wanted to carry out the celebration of the marriage union with a level of secrecy, so they only invited their closest family and friends to witness “the beautiful ceremony.” According to the insider, the couple made all the guests sign a confidentiality agreement, while cell phones and smartphones were removed once the celebration began.
The source also revealed that the guest list, while short, featured well-known stars in the world of entertainment, including Evans’ superhero co-stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth and Jeremy Renner. Sounds Marvel-ous, doesn’t it!
Who is Alba Baptista?
Despite the Hollywood husband in her life, the multi-talented Baptista has plenty to boast about in her own right. Born in Lisbon, Portugal, in 1997, Baptista’s roots are firmly grounded in a family where her parents hold professional positions, one an engineer, the other a translator.
Alba’s acting journey began close to home, with a string of roles in several Portuguese series and films, including “A Impostora,” “Filha da Lei,” “A Criação,” and “Jogo Duplo.” However, it was her role in the English-language series “Warrior Nun” that marked her entrance onto the international stage.
But more than acting, what sets Alba apart is her linguistic prowess, as she fluently converses in five languages, including Portuguese, English, Spanish, French, and German. Now that is a real super power!
Baptista also shares a common passion with her now-husband Evans, which saw her devoting a significant amount of her time in 2018 to humanitarian work at an orphanage in Cambodia, with a specific focus on education.
