When it comes to the world of action-packed blockbusters, the ‘Mission: Impossible’ film series is undoubtedly one of the most iconic and beloved franchises on screens right now.

Known for its thrilling action and Tom Cruise’s charismatic portrayal of super-spy Ethan Hunt, each installment promises spies, gadgets, and at least one mind-blowing stunt that has seen audiences return in droves amidst a summer of poorly-performing box office bombs.

Appearing alongside him in the latest instalment is British actress Hayley Atwell.

Haylet Atwell’s life, so far

Born on April 5, 1982, in London, England, Hayley Atwell began her acting career with a series of notable roles in film, television, and stage productions. However, it was her portrayal of Peggy Carter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that propelled her to international recognition.

Building upon her success in the character from the early days of MCU, Atwell headed her own television series, ‘Agent Carter,’ which aired from 2015 to 2016.

Aside from her work in the MCU, Hayley Atwell has appeared in a variety of other projects. She starred in films such as ‘The Duchess,’ ‘Cinderella,’ ‘Testament of Youth,’ and ‘Christopher Robin.’ On television, she has been seen in series like ‘Black Mirror’ and ‘Howards End.’

Atwell has also performed on stage, earning critical acclaim for her work in plays such as ‘A View from the Bridge’ where she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award for Best Supporting Actress. She has two other nominations in leading roles for performances in ‘The Pride’ and ‘Rosmersholm’.
