Katherine Blanford made her television debut on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon back in August 2022. She was there to promote her album ‘Salt Daddy’ released two months prior that debuted at number one on iTunes Charts.

She will be back on Tuesday night bringing along her self-described “human Golden Retriever” presence. The Kentucky born stand-up comedian, writer, and podcaster is known for her rapid fire jokes in which she shares “confessions of her southern family secrets and awkward adolescent years.”

Who is Katherine Blanford? Where is the comedian from?

Blanford grew up in Louisville but is currently based in Atlanta, Georgia. She has toured the country and internationally. Besides appearing on The Tonight Show, “she has been a panelist on Vice TV’s Super Maximum Retro Show, and was featured on Netflix Radio” according to her bio. As well, her did a set on ‘Don’t Tell Comedy’ which has amassed millions of views.

Nowadays, the quirky humorist co-hosts a weekly podcast with fellow comedian, Lace Larrabee called ‘Cheaties’. “The juicy series follows two comedians healing through laughter after sharing stories of infidelity.” Currently, she is also on tour across the nation with multiple gigs scheduled through September.

She is the middle child in her family. Like her, both of her brothers are “different” she told The Spokane-Review. “I wasn’t the most normal kid and neither were my brothers,” she said.

“When my friends pretended to be shopkeepers or veterinarians, I would pretend to be a pawn broker or a ticket scalper. I would walk around my cul de sac and pretend to sell tickets,” she told the outlet.
