Anjai Sud, Tubi CEO, explains important lesson she learned: “Nobody’s perfect and everybody has impostor syndrome”
The CEO spoke about the state of the modern workplace.

Anjali Sud, the leader steering Tubi’s rapid ascent in the crowded streaming world, has a message many people could benefit from: success does not come from never feeling unsure about the world and your position in it.
Sud, who took over at Tubi, the free streaming service owned by Fox, after a stint running Vimeo, recently shared insights from her own career at a CNBC Changemakers interview. She described a personal philosophy that helped her handle uncertainty while guiding teams through fast-changing landscapes.
“I would always look up at people and be like, ‘They have all the answers and I don’t,’” Sud said. “Now, I just realise everybody’s trying their best based on the information they have, and nobody’s perfect and everybody has impostor syndrome.”
“I don’t think you can get over impostor syndrome”
In her discussions, she encourages others to take on challenges that might feel slightly beyond their comfort zone rather than waiting for the perfect moment to arrive. That approach, she suggests, builds resilience and creativity in leaders and teams alike.
“I don’t think you can get over impostor syndrome,” she said. “I think the key is how do you take that piece of you that’s like, ‘This is hard, it’s challenging, it’s scary,’ and build a fearlessness around it and embrace that feeling and use it to push yourself forward.”
“Bet on yourself,” she concluded.
