Two people opened fire on crowds at the famous Bondi Beach south of Sydney, Australia leaving multiple victims.

Sunday evening two gunmen opened fire on crowds at the famous Bondi Beach south of Sydney, Australia. There are reports of multiple people injured, including two police officers, and at least twelve fatalities, including one of the suspected shooters. The other has been critically wounded report the authorities.
Even so, the emergency response operation is still ongoing. New South Wales police are urging people to avoid the area and have told people who are in the area to “shelter in place.”
Police attend to multiple victims at Bondi Beach shooting
At least 29 people have been taken to hospital so far. However, emergency services and police are still treating people on site at the beach as well.
The condition of the victims is “serious, but there are a range of conditions,” said Police Commissioner Mel Lanyon at a press conference.
Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese spoke to the public afterwards.

In a statement he called the mass shooting “shocking and distressing.” He also called on people to heed the instructions from the first responders on the scene.
