Bad news for Red Lobster lovers: Endless Shrimp is not coming back | Here’s what the chain is offering instead

Red Lobster hit turbulent waters last year when it was forced to declare bankruptcy in part due to losing millions on its ‘Endless Shrimp’ promotion. Now the restaurant is making a comeback under new leadership and presenting customers with an alternate deal on shrimp.

“It may not be endless, but you’ll definitely spend less,” said Red Lobster CEO Damola Adamolekun in a press release.

Fans of Red Lobster’s shrimp dishes will now be able to take advantage of a trio, Garlic Shrimp Scampi, Shrimp Linguini Alfredo and Popcorn Shrimp, all on one plate and priced at just $15.99 for a limited time. The chain warns that prices may be higher in Canada, California, and Hawaii, as well as in New York Times Square, Reno.

This replaces the company’s unlimited shrimp for $20, popular deal among customers but was a nightmare for employees and financially ruinous for Red Lobster.

“Since stepping into this role, I’ve gotten questions about Endless Shrimp – ‘Is it coming back? ‘What really happened with the promotion?’ ‘How much shrimp is too much shrimp?’” said Adamolekun. “It’s time we officially turn the tides.”

He said the new promotion is “smarter, more sustainable and still packed with the unbeatable value and delicious flavors our guests have come to expect.”

“Ultimate SpendLESS Shrimp is a celebration and I’m looking forward to our diners enjoying great shrimp dishes this season for a great price,” Adamolekun added.

Red Lobster introduces limited-time lineup of fall-inspired cocktails

In the seafood restaurant chain’s press release, Red Lobster also announced that it is introducing a limited-time lineup of fall-inspired cocktails. These include the following:

• Caramel Dream: Absolut Vodka, butterscotch, caramel and cream, garnished with a sea salt chocolate caramel
• Apple Harvest Punch: Captain Morgan Spiced Rum, cranberry, lemon and apple juice, topped with an apple slice and cinnamon stick
• Gold Rush: Maker’s Mark Bourbon, honey, and sparkling gold shimmer, garnished with fresh mint
