The Powerball jackpot has hit the nine-figure mark, after no tickets matched all six lottery numbers in Monday’s latest drawing.

The grand prize has been climbing steadily throughout April, having been reset at $20 million early in the month. This came after a single ticket purchased in Delaware scooped a $231 million jackpot on April 6.

What are the winning Powerball numbers for April 20, 2026?

In this week’s opening Powerball drawing, the winning white balls were 9-17-36-47-64. The red Powerball was 26. The Power Play multiplier was 3x.

What is the Powerball jackpot now?

Before Monday’s drawing, the top figure had risen to an estimated $87 million, with a $39.7 million cash option. But after no tickets claimed the jackpot - for the sixth drawing in a row - it has now rolled over to an estimated $100 million. The cash option has increased to $45.6 million.

When is the next Powerball drawing?

The next drawing is due to take place at 10:59 p.m. ET/7:59 p.m. PT on Wednesday, April 22, 2026.

How likely are you to win the Powerball jackpot?

According to Powerball organizers, a single ticket - which costs $2 - has a one in 292,201,338 chance of landing the top prize.

If you do win the jackpot, you are given two options:

Collect the full amount in growing annual instalments spread over 29 years
Receive the smaller, cash-option figure as an up-front, lump-sum payment

While the jackpot captures the headlines, there are also numerous smaller amounts to be won. Secondary prizes range from $4 to $1 million or more, depending on how many winning numbers a player matches.

Non-jackpot prizes can be multiplied by adding the Power Play option for an additional $1.
