In this context, Carlos Dorado, a nutrition expert and social media educator, shared a video on TikTok highlighting five symptoms that, when they occur consistently over time, may indicate that your body is inflamed. “Five symptoms that show your body is inflamed and you do not even realize it. This hidden fire leaves subtle marks that almost everyone ignores and that should set off alarm bells,” the nutritionist begins.

“First, if you wake up every morning feeling extremely tired and lacking energy despite having slept well, that inflammatory fire is already active,” he explains. Next, Carlos mentions “headaches, lower back pain, and joint discomfort.” “They appear without an obvious cause, but they are the embers of that invisible fire,” he adds.

Continuing his list, the nutrition expert goes on to discuss occasional swelling in different parts of the body, such as the legs, abdomen, or hands. “It means your body is retaining water due to chronic inflammation,” he says. He then reveals that the fourth sign is related to “insomnia and frequent awakenings,” which can disrupt our “biological clock.”

Finally, Carlos Dorado focuses on the skin and the warning signs that may appear there. “If your skin surprises you with itching, redness, breakouts, or mouth sores, these are sparks rising from within,” he concludes.
