Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi date, what time does it come out and where can you watch it?

The new animated series features a number of returning characters as the team behind Clone Wars returns for the six-part show.

Soon after the release of Andor mroe Star Wars has been added to Dinsey+. This is Tales of the Jedi, a six-part story concerning two Jedi characters key to the Star Wars universe; Ashoka Tano and Count Dooku. Fans of the Phantom Menace will be pleased to see the arc with Dooku is before his fall to the Darkside and features adventures with Qui-Gon Jinn and Mace Windu.

Each episode clocks in at only 15 minutes, making the series a quick watch. Treat it like a taster of the forthcoming second series of The Bad Batch slated for release at the end of this year.

Dave Filoni heads the show as he continues to make his mark on Lucasfilm. The director made his name on the Clone Wars series and has sinced directed episodes of other Star Wars media such as the Mandalorian.

Filoni described Tales of the Jedi as “Two paths and two choices,” alluding to the two lead characters. He also discussed the continuing influence of universe creator George Lucas by saying, “It’s the mentor relationship…now it’s our job to take care of it and to further it in ways that are exciting for the next generation.”

Where to watch it

As is the case with all Star Wars content, Tales of the Jedi will be available to stream on Disney+. All six episodes from the series are already available to watch.
