The priciest ZIP code in the US isn’t where you think: it’s not in NYC
Where is the most expensive place to live in the United States? Here’s the answer.

The top-100 most expensive places to live in the United States have been revealed, and there are some big (and not to big) surprises in the list.
As you may have expected, California and New York make up a huge percentage (80%) of the list, with both the Golden State and the Big Apple fulfilling their reputation as the biggest pocket drainers in the States.
A survey conducted by PropertyShark revealed that a decline in house prices last year has been followed up with a huge surge, reflecting the rising cost of living in general across many major nations.
Right off the bat, the most shocking piece of statistical data revealed was that a staggering 15 cities had median sale prices of $4 million and above for properties, while just 15 were below the $2 million line.
