Recently declassified documents obtained following a freedom of information request showed that ‘wreckage’ was recovered ‘on the shoreline’ of Lake Huron.

In February 2023, a UFO was shot down by a US F16 fighter jet which was scrambled after an anomalous radar blip alerted North American Aerospace Defense Command.

News of the wreckage comes just a few weeks after search operations were officially suspended by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) due to “several factors including deteriorating weather and the low probability of recovery.”

This incident occurred shortly after the U.S. military downed a Chinese surveillance balloon.

Debris 'determined not to be of national security concern'

“Following reports of unidentified aerial objects observed in the Great Lakes area and elsewhere in North America, multiple searches were conducted by the RCMP with the support of the Canadian Armed Forces,” said an RCMP spokesperson in a statement to CTVNews.ca.

Debris has been recovered from the shores of Lake Huron but after careful analysis, it was determined not to be of national security concern,” the spokesperson added.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) reportedly recovered the UFO from the crash site in March 2023, three weeks after it was shot down around 20,000 feet above the lake’s surface, according to a news outlet. The object was described as octagonal in shape with strings attached.

A U.S. fighter jet fired two missiles at the UFO, striking it with one before it crashed into Canadian waters. Documents obtained by the news outlet revealed that an RCMP staff member informed a Canadian military general via email that “the module is from a company that sells weather monitoring equipment". No aliens this time.
