Elon Musk threw his financial weight behind Donald Trump’s 2024 campaign to retake the White House pumping over $100 million into a Super PAC to support the Republican. He also turned his social media platform X into a megaphone for right-wing propaganda, anti-woke messages and GOP get-out-the-vote efforts.

The bet has already begun paying off with a stock market surge, including Tesla’s stock value where Musk gets most of his net worth, after Trump was declared the winner as investors hope for deregulation and tax cuts. While the GOP presidential candidate railed against the Democrats about the economy his message in the final days of the 2024 campaign was centered more heavily on immigration and anti-transgender attacks.

The fact that people would vote for a person that opposes transgender rights was just too much for Musk’s estranged trans daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson.

Wilson took to social media to announce her intention to leave the United States.

“I’ve thought this for a while, but yesterday confirmed it for me. I don’t see my future being in the United States,” she wrote in a Threads post. “Even if he’s only in office for 4 years, even if the anti-trans regulations magically don’t happen, the people who willingly voted this in are not going anywhere anytime soon.”

Responding to a New York Post article about his daughters intentions to vacate the United States, Musk posted on X, “The woke virus killed my son.” The rather cold message about his own flesh and blood gives credence to what Wilson told NBC News in July. “He was cold. He’s very quick to anger. He is uncaring and narcissistic,” she told the outlet.

Wilson, who along with her twin brother, was born to Musk’s first wife, author Justine Musk. Musk shared custody of Wilson and her twin brother with Justine after the couple divorced in 2008. In the interview with NBC, Wilson said that he was an absent father, who was rarely present, and had never been supportive as long as she could remember.

“He was there, I want to say, maybe 10% of the time. That’s generous. He had half custody, and he fully was not there,” Wilson shared with the outlet.

He would also berate her for exhibiting feminine traits like having a high-pitched voice. As early as elementary school Wilson says, Musk would badger her to use a deeper voice and appear more masculine.
