Update:

The campaigns have three days to make their final cases to the voters, and the candidates are sticking to the swing states. Kamala Harris and Tim Walz will be dividing up the states, rather than campaigning together, to give a wider reach and interact with a greater number of voters.

Events on Saturday, November 2

On Saturday, November 2, Vice President Kamala Harris is heading to Atlanta, Georgia, to host a rally this afternoon. The doors for the event opened at 9:00 AM ET and will begin at 12:45 PM ET. After the rally, the vice president will head north to Charlotte, North Carolina, where she will host a rally this afternoon. This is her second trip to the state this week, with her previous stop taking place in Raleigh. Minnesota Governor and Harris’ running mate, Tim Walz, is in Arizona making two stops, one in Tucson and another in Flagstaff.

Events on Sunday, November 3

On Sunday, Harris will head to Michigan, where the Governor could join her and Gretchen Witmer, co-chair of the Harris-Walz campaign, in the state’s capital, East Lansing. Walz and Kamala Harris’ husband, Doug Emhoff, will campaign together in Georgia. Walz will meet with canvassers, and then the duo will host a rally, including performances from Bon Jovi.

Events on Monday, November 4

On Monday, the last day of the campaign, Harris will head to the critical state of Pennsylvania for a rally in Philadelphia.

The importance of Pennsylvania for the Kamala Harris campaign

Election experts, including Dr. David A. Schultz, whose research focuses on US elections and the electoral college, told us that if Harris can win in Pennsylvania, her path to 270 becomes much easier.

Though the seven swing states that the campaigns are focusing on are Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, Dr. Schultz explained that “if [Harris] can’t win Pennsylvania, her math gets much more complicated.” Trump, on the other hand, “can potentially lose Pennsylvania [...], but if he sweeps North Carolina, Georgia, Arizona, possibly, you know, can squeak through anyhow.”

That does not mean the Trump campaign is not putting effort into winning Pennsylvania; quite the opposite case is true. The former president will be heading to the state on Sunday and Monday, making three stops in total.
