What are my veteran disability compensation rates? VA pay charts 2022

Veterans Affairs disability benefits provide much-needed financial support for injured servicemen and women. Here’s how much they could stand to receive.

Update:
What are the compensation rates for disabled veterans?

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) plays a vital role in supporting servicemen and servicewomen, and their families, after they has left the armed forces.

Included in the range of programs offered by the VA are disability benefits designed to provide financial relief for men and women who lost use of part of their bodies in the line of duty. The amount paid out by the VA is dependent on a number of factors, primarily related to the severity of the disability and the personal circumstances of the claimant.

VA disability ratings range from 0 – 100%, in 10-percent increments. This figure is used to assess the severity of the injury and the amount of financial support required. Claimants will be given a medical examination and assigned a disability rating.
