Given the huge amount of rules in place for the upcoming Trump-Harris debate on ABC (9 p.m. ET), the TV channel have confirmed the presence of two top presenters to keep the peace if the temperature of the Philadelphia National Constitution Center gets too prickly.

As the two political foes go toe to toe, ABC News Live “Prime” anchor Linsey Davis will have the task of monitoring the debate along with “World News Tonight” anchor David Muir.

Davis is a seasoned pro when it comes to standing in front of the camera. With a strong background in journalism, it seems ABC have made the correct choice in appointing Davis for this huge role. ABC write that Davis was “at the forefront of ABC News’ coverage” for the previous election, “beginning with all eight nights of the Democratic and Republican National Conventions to co-anchoring major political events such as two presidential debates, the vice presidential debate, presidential election coverage and Inauguration Day”.

The broadcasting company call her moderating skills “tough, but fair” and say that she “held candidates accountable on racial inequality and other key issues.” Some of her more prominent interviews have included time with Hillary Clinton, Mike Pence and Bill Gates, among others.

For her work, she has been awarded two Emmy Awards and a regional Edward R. Murrow Award.
