13 hours of deliberation

After approximately 13 hours of deliberations, the jury found in favor of the “Pirate of the Caribbean” actor on all three grounds of his defamation claim, awarding him 15 million dollars in damages as they found that Amber Heard had made false statements in describing herself as a victim of domestic violence, and that she had acted “with malicious intent”.

The seven jurors, unanimous, also found that Johnny Depp had defamed Amber Heard, awarding her $2 million in financial compensation.
