The Boys Season 3 presents their first teaser during SXSW
Prime Video gives us a first look at what will be the new season of its hit series, The Boys. Things will continue to get bloodier and more violent.
The Boys Season 3 is getting closer and closer to its arrival. During a panel focused on the series during South by Southwest 22, Prime Video gave the first glimpse of the new season of the series that satirizes the admiration for superheroes and the small group of vigilantes who seek to expose the truth about this corrupt world.
The teaser shows that the series maintains its dark and bloody line, which has made it one of the references within the streaming service. As the announcement of its new season had told us: "Heads will explode, and not in the figurative kinda way". With some familiar faces and some new faces, the teaser barely manages to calm down a bit that we already want to see the new season, but hey, a new Imagine Dragons song also debuted. What can we expect in The Boys Season 3?
For now, there are not many details about what the season will cover. According to previous statements by Erick Kripke, showrunner of the series, the comic spinoff arc "Herogasm" will be the sixth episode of season 3, where we will see Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy.
When will The Boys Season 3 debut?
As announced earlier this year, The Boys Season 3 will premiere next Friday, June 3. As it has been done with previous seasons, this one will have a total of 8 episodes with an hour-long runtime. On July 3, the first 3 episodes of the third season will be released. The rest of the episodes will arrive weekly every Friday with the season finale on July 8.
