Fortnite Season 2 Chapter 3 has received substantial changes in terms of character mobility. In this Fortnite Battle Royale guide we tell you how to do tactical sprints, how to do parkour and how to climb:

Fortnite Season 2: how to do tactical sprints

In Fortnite Season 2 Chapter 3, the basic movement speed has been increased. That means, what in Season 1 was sprinting, now is the normal movement speed. And now, in Season 2 we have a speed higher than this: the tactical sprint. This is activated in the same way we ran before: pressing the left stick on consoles, or Shift Right on PC.

Full screen

We have a fatigue bar that will be emptied when we make a tactical sprint. This meter will temporarily appear on top of the shield and health bars, and this ability has an average duration of 5 seconds. When we are not doing a tactical sprint, our character will recover, which is represented by the bar automatically refilling.

Fortnite Season 2: how to do parkour

Considering that during the first days of Fortnite Season 2 Chapter 3 you can not build in normal game modes, we are forced to do parkour, that is jumping and climbing if we want to reach high places.

Parkour is done in a very simple way: first, we must do a tactical sprint, then jump and hold down the jump button to perch and climb to heights of one cube. Our character will automatically grab and climb, which effectively allows us to climb. Pretty straightforward.
