Elden Ring fixes an important bug in Malenia; patch 1.04.1 release notes
From Software takes action on one of the bugs discovered while fighting Malenia. The patch is now available on PS5, PS4, Xbox and PC.
From Software has fixed a bug that hindered the experience when fighting against Malenia in Elden Ring. Patch 1.04.1, now available for download in all versions, restores the Blade of Miquella's original health recovery when playing in multiplayer. We tell you the full patch notes below.

- Fixed a bug in which the effect duration of the Cerulean Hidden Tear was revised downward
- Fixed a bug with Malenia, Blade of Miquella in which her HP was not healed correctly in the online multiplayer environment
- Fixed a bug that caused some bosses to die at unintended times
- Fixed a bug that prevented the boss "Elden Beast" from working properly under certain circumstances
- Fixed some texts
From Software alludes to this bug, where the community had discovered a method that made it easier to fight bosses with more than one phase. It consisted of performing status damage right at the moment of transition. Bleeding, freezing, rotting, poison... any of the states was suitable to take this shortcut. As the patch notes suggest, it has now been fixed.
These bugs started with the release of patch 1.04, which introduced important changes. The new Patches event phases were among the most relevant additions, as well as the possibility to disable automatic camera rotation.
