Nintendo announces a new Indie World for May 11

The streaming event will last about 20 minutes and will preview some of the upcoming indie video games coming soon to Nintendo Switch.

Update:
Nintendo announces a new Indie World for May 11

The time for the indie games has come to Nintendo Switch. The Kyoto-based company has revealed that there will be a new Indie World on May 11, starting at 7:00 a.m. PT. In total, it will be about 20 minutes of information about indie titles coming soon to Nintendo's hybrid console. As usual, the streaming event will be available on Nintendo's official YouTube channel (direct link).

The following is a breakdown of when you can watch this stream in the United States.

What time is the Indie World on May 11 in the United States?

  • 10:00 AM ET
  • 9:00 AM CT
  • 7:00 AM PT

Nintendo has not provided details on the specific titles that will be presented during the event. It is worth remembering that being an event focused on indie titles, we will not see any of the company's big names, so do not expect announcements of the sequel to Breath of the Wild, Splatoon 3, or Xenoblade Chronicles 3. However, among the indie titles that are still to come is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge, the expected Ninja Turtles title to be released by Dotemu this very year 2022. We can only hope that within tomorrow's indie titles, we will continue to find fresh titles that invite us to play them. A sample of this are the 15 best-selling indie titles Nintendo had in 2021.

Don't miss the coverage of tomorrow's presentation on Meristation USA.
