The Sims 5 images leaked showing what its apartments will look like
A Reddit user, who subsequently deleted his account, was the one who leaked the images of the newly announced project still known as Project Rene.
EA Maxis had already shown something of Project Rene, what will be in the future The Sims 5. Although there is still a long way to go before the title is released, it was a way for the company to appease the uncertainty of the fans. At the time, it was part of the presentation Behind The Sims", focused on the future of the simulation video game, where sometime later we were able to interview Lyndsay Pearson, VP of Creative for The Sims, to go into more detail about this project.
Well, someone has been too enthusiastic and has leaked on Reddit images of the interior and exterior of the game's apartments. Of course, his profile has since disappeared.
There's nothing like home, especially if it looks like this
The concept of home is very important in video games. In the Sims it is an essential part of the game, that's why the leaked images are so relevant.
These are pictures taken on a monitor with the game running, and we can see things like the rich interiors, part of the interface, tutorial messages... and also a European cosmopolitan style exterior image. Everything looks great and above what we've seen in The Sims 4.
The user, before deleting his account, commented on what he was playing "was focusing on the new building and furniture features. It had 4 preset studio apartments for you to mess around in or an empty one for you to build in", to conclude that there "was no sims in this test, it was just building."
Leaks are not welcome by companies, who usually dose in a very planned way what to show and what not. You know what happened with GTA VI not long ago. In this case, it has not been something massive, but we are sure that Maxis is already investigating what could have happened.
