Pedro Pascal (Joel) hints that The Last of Us Season 2 is closer than we think

The actor who plays one of the protagonists of the series teases about the start date of the filming of the second season.

The first season of The Last of Us, the HBO series based on the PlayStation video game, is slowly heading toward its end. With only two more episodes on this Season 1 there is only one thing as much or more anticipated than the finale: Season 2. Based on the production levels of the show, many of us thought we might have to wait a long time for its premiere, but to everyone's surprise, Pedro Pascal's latest statements led us to think that it si much closer than we even thought.

In an interview with Collider, the actor who plays Joel in the series has joked about the date when the second season will begin filming, after being asked about the possibility of it being this year, he said the following "In the year 2023? Oh, what season are we in now? We're getting into spring? Yes, there is a chance. Yes.” Considering that one of the biggest HBO productions, House of the Dragon, will not return until 2024, anyone could be wondering when would The Last of Us would return.
