The official draft of the next chapter of the manga illustrated by Toyotaro shows the climax of the battle between the most powerful Gohan and Cell Max.

Update:
Dragon Ball Super manga 100

The latest chapters of the manga ‘Dragon Ball Super’ adapt the story arc of the movie ‘Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero’ and await the climax of the final battle between Gohan in his Beast transformation - his most powerful version yet - and Cell Max, the brutal resurrection of Cell. We already have a first glimpse of the 100th chapter of the manga, illustrated by Toyotaro and written by Akira Toriyama, in which Goku’s eldest son appears to deal the final blow to such a colossal villain. This can be seen in the official one-page draft of the next issue of the adaptation.

Gohan Beast and his most deadly technique in manga format

The adaptation of the last movie of the franchise to manga format - as part of the official canon - is a success, including some improvements to the original script to surprise fans. And as usual, the official website of ‘Dragon Ball’ has revealed a glimpse of the next issue of the manga, this time through a single page as a draft.

This way, regular readers of ‘Dragon Ball Super’ can prepare themselves for the new pages of a story that will culminate with the defeat of Cell Max at the hands of a fully unleashed Gohan Beast, using Piccolo’s iconic technique, duly enhanced and improved by Son Gohan himself.

However, we will have to wait for its official publication to find out if the manga makes further changes with respect to the movie, in this case in the way they end the threat of Cell Max.

The next ‘Dragon Ball’ in anime format will be ‘Dragon Ball Daima’ from next fall 2024, while waiting to confirm or not the continuation of ‘Dragon Ball Super’ on television, thus adapting the latest volumes of the manga.
