Dragon Ball

'Dragon Ball': This is the most powerful Yamcha, capable of defeating Vegeta

The well-known Z-warrior has always been a source of mockery, but this alternative version of a ‘Dragon Ball’ spin-off is capable of rivaling Goku in terms of power.

Update:
Dragon Ball Yamcha Vegeta

While Yamcha has always been one of the most underrated characters of ‘Dragon Ball’, there is an alternate version that is capable of defeating Vegeta in battle; yes, as unlikely as it may seem. So much so, that the spin-off manga ‘Dragon Ball: The Time I Was Reincarnated as Yamchapresents us with an alternate storyline in which Yamcha is a Z-warrior on par with Goku, as we say, even capable of defeating Vegeta on his first visit to Earth.

Can Yamcha defeat Vegeta?

This official spin-off of “Dragon Ball” introduces us to a young man from Earth who ends up being reincarnated as Yamcha, reaching levels of power and learning fusion techniques unattainable for the famous character in the main series written by Akira Toriyama. This is told in the second episode of this alternate manga, where we see Yamcha train to the level of Goku, even traveling to Namek before the arrival of the Saiyans on Earth.

This Yamcha finds his special redemption after his humiliating defeat against Saibaman in the main series of “Dragon Ball” when Vegeta and Nappa discover the true potential of the Z-Warrior, which exceeds 10,000 units of power, a superhuman strength for that arc of the saga. And it is this tremendous power that would have allowed Yamcha to defeat Vegeta and change the course of Dragon Ball forever.

The alternative manga ‘Dragon Ball: That Time I Got Reincarnated as Yamcha’ allows us to enjoy the most badass Yamcha we can imagine, despite starring in some of the most humiliating moments, as in the case of the most atrocious fusion of the entire franchise.

Next up for ‘Dragon Ball’ will be the new anime seriesDragon Ball Daima’, in which the main protagonists of the franchise will return to their childhood state; the series will arrive in time to celebrate the 40th anniversary of ‘Dragon Ball’ next fall 2024.
