Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet are gearing up for their second DLC: The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero - The Indigo Disk on December 14th. And to celebrate, Game Freak has unveiled a new Mystery Gift Code that can be used to obtain none other than a shiny Lucario.
How to get a free Shiny Lucario in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet with a Mystery Gift Code?
To get our Shiny Lucario in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, we need to do the following:
- Launch Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet.
- Open the menu with X and press L to connect to the Internet.
- Select Poké Portal.
- Select Mystery Gift.
- Get with Code/Password
- Enter the password SH1NYBUDDY
- You will receive a shiny Lucario, which will be added to your team or your Boxes.
- Save your game.
Keep in mind that we can only get one per game, and that this is a limited time promotion, available between December 7, 2023 at 8:00 AM ET and November 3, 2024 at 6:59 PM ET. In other words, once it ends, we will not be able to get this prize, even if we enter the code.
How is the Shiny Lucario we get with the Mystery Gift Code in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet?
Below are the details of the Shiny Lucario we get with this code:
- It is at level 75.
- It comes in a Cherish Ball.
- It is a Fighting and Steel type, and its Teratype is Steel.
- The Lucario gets our Original Trainer name and our ID#.
- It has 4 Best IVs (PS, Attack, Sp. Atk. and Speed) and 2 Pretty Good IVs (Sp. Def. and Defense).
- Its moves are Flash Cannon, Aura Sphere, Bullet Punch and Ice Punch.
- Its Ability is Inner Focus.
- It has the minimum EVs, so we can improve it as we want.
- Its nature is Naive ( +Speed, -Sp. Def.).
- It comes with a Classic Ribbon.
This is a Lucario that is not competitive on its own, but it has a lot of potential. We’ll need to give it the appropriate items - or defeat a lot of Pokémon - to raise its IVs to the maximum, and it wouldn’t hurt to upgrade its Special Defense and Defense to Best.
It is a golden opportunity to get it, either for pure collecting or because we want to use it for our competitive team. Either way, this distribution code will make getting a Shiny Lucario a breeze, and we will not have to farm Shinys based on having HOME Pokémon or trading with friends and strangers.
